With just six rooms, relaxation, privacy and comfort are the priority here. Choose from one of four Sea View Bungalows or two Garden Rooms for either azure ocean views or lush tropical garden surroundings. All of the rooms are simply decorated and feature calming neutral colour schemes, natural wood furniture and exposed wooden or tiled floors, creating a tranquil atmosphere from which to relax in.

After a peaceful night's sleep and waking up to the sound of the waves lapping the beach and birds singing in the trees, head for a breakfast of fresh fruit and pastries on the wooden roof terrace overlooking Tofo Bay. For drinks, take something from the well-stocked honesty bar and enjoy sipping it in the sunshine.

During the days guests will want to enjoy plenty of time admiring the beautiful beach views and soaking up some rays from the sun terrace. For those who like to keep a little more active the resort offers a selection of yoga classes and the local area is rich with restaurants, bars and lively local life which are crying out to be explored.

Having said all that, the main activity to be enjoyed here is undoubtedly the diving. Set alongside pristine waters and untouched coastline, Baia Sonambula offers opportunity to dive amongst colourful reefs, turtles, giant manta rays, dolphins and one of the world's biggest populations of whale sharks, amongst more. During the winter months (May to October) large numbers of Humpback Whales migrate along the coastline and come very close to shore in the Tofo area meaning there is also chance to spot and dive with these giants of the oceans.
