Old Bahama Bay Resort

Located on a white beach and built around a lovely marina, this resort is the place to stay if you want to head out for some adrenaline-filled dives at Tiger Beach. The resort consists of 67 junior suites and 6 spacious two-bedroom suits and are categorised as Pool View, Ocean View or Ocean Front. The Ocean Front would be our top pick since you have direct access to the beach but all the rooms are just moments away from both the pool and the beach.

There are plenty of activities to do from the resort but the main draw to this part of the Bahamas is Stuart Cove's Dive Bahamas which is a dive centre located at the resort who take you out to Tiger Beach to dive with tiger sharks and lemon sharks. This is an incredible experience in an extremely professional atmosphere.

Aside from the diving, activities include fishing (bone, reef and deep-sea), golf, daily snorkelling trips, spa, car and bicycle rental and of course relaxation on the white sandy beach. That is if you can drag yourself away from the tiger sharks.
