At least 10km away from any other inhabited island, sitting on an untouched atoll, surrounded by one of the most beautiful reefs you will find in the tropics sits the Park Hyatt Hadahaa. There are few better or more impressive havens to be found in the Maldives.

Louisa and Amy are here to help give you the inside track.

The Park Hyatt Hadahaa offers the ultimate Maldivian experience of turquoise and azure waters and fine white beaches, complemented by tranquil settings. Great care has been taken in the construction of resort to preserve the natural vegetation in order to maintain the ambience of the island and minimise the environmental footprint of the resort; environmental awareness and protection are key considerations in all guest experiences. The Park Hyatt Hadahaa is the first resort in the Maldives to adhere to the standards for Green Globe certification in the construction stage and resort operations.

The Park Villas provide a private island home for guests desiring true solitude and tranquillity. Nestled among the natural vegetation of the island, they create an intimate setting for relaxation, each villa featuring a private deck, bedroom with living area and your own private garden with outdoor shower and bath; perfect sound from a home entertainment system completes the experience. There is only a short sandy walk from each deck to the magical blue of the Indian Ocean.

The Park Villa with Pool provides a step up in the level of lazing and pampering. Enjoying the privacy provided by the natural vegetation, guests will step down from their daybed into their own personal plunge pool adjacent to the outdoor deck.

And lastly, top of the range, the Water Villa is an ideal retreat from a chaotic world, where guests enjoy panoramic views of the ocean to the horizon and fall asleep to the sound of soft waves lapping below their overwater villa. Each villa features the bedroom with living area, bathroom with oval shaped bath and a full size window opening to a view of the ocean, a private deck with daybed, sun lounges and access to the coral-filled waters.

Only a few steps away from the white beaches guests can discover a whole new world of snorkelling or scuba diving. The unspoilt and easily accessible coral reef is no more than 50m from the shore, unveiling a mesmerising underwater world. The house reef here is truly stunning and you may choose never to venture further afield than to snorkel and dive the house reef itself.

All guests are welcome to collect their snorkelling equipment from the water sports centre where the instructors will give snorkelling techniques and tips, conduct snorkelling lessons and provide guests with more information about the marine life.

The Park Hyatt Hadahaa dive centre also offers a unique à la carte diving program enabling guests to customise their dive experience. Dive wherever you want, go whenever you want and all this with your private instructor and private boat as an option.
