Our Guide to Diving Holidays in the Abacos
Located in the north of the Bahamas, the Abacos are made up of the main islands Great Abaco and Little Abaco along with a large number of cays that are home to lovely hotels and perfect white sandy beaches.
Elbow Cay is an ideal spot to rent a villa, either in Hopetown itself (one of the most picturesque towns you will ever find) or just outside and Green Turtle Cay is home to the lovely Green Turtle Club with an atmosphere you just can't beat. The diving around these cays is lovely, with frequent visits from eagle rays, Caribbean reef sharks, tarpons and much more.
Both spots you can rent a golf buggy for the duration of your stay to explore - we recommend doing this as you will find remote beaches, bars to enjoy your sundowners and very friendly locals.
These islands are totally laid-back, in true Caribbean style, and make a great holiday for families and couples alike.
