With over 2000ft of powdery white sand beach to explore, the private island retreat of Pangulasian Island Resort is an idyllic spot to unwind between dives, on Palawan's Bacuit Bay.
With the Pangulasian Island Resort, we have the perfect place to experience the Bacuit Bay paradise in pure luxury. El Nido, Palawan, is an undiscovered gem both above and below the waves. Limestone, forest-clad islands jut up from the turquoise water and are surrounded by a sprinkling of white sand.
A total of 42 luxurious palm-thatched villas are scattered amongst the treetops and beside the beach; simple but sophisticated in design, whilst still maintaining classic Filipino style. All the villas have private balconies and some feature private pools, with amazing views out across the bay. The stretch of sandy beach is one of the best in the region with lovely snorkelling directly offshore.
There is a spa, which offers traditional, heliot massages, as well as an infinity pool, a library and a restaurant that serves Western and Asian cuisine. You will also benefit from the other El Nido properties and their facilities, Miniloc Island Resort and Lagen Island Resort; whether to dine, snorkel or head to one of their beach clubs for a picnic lunch between dives.
Pangulasian Island also features its very own nature trail. A 30-minute climb takes guests right up to the top of the hill in the centre of the island, from where you can enjoy panoramic views to the bay beyond. Among the trees, Palawan hornbill, white-vented shama and starlings can be sighted; monkeys, however, can be heard but are rarely seen.
There is so much to do in this region, whether you just want to just relax and enjoy the amazing surrounding, take picnics on idyllic beaches or trek, dive, snorkel, kayak; the list goes on…all this happens within the comfort and pure luxury of the up and coming Pangulasian Island Resort.
Why we love it
What better way to experience the unbelievable views out to Bacuit Bay than from your very own private pool, whilst sipping on a post-dive cocktail.
