The declining health of our oceans is a global concern. With ever-growing knowledge of the perils our reefs and seas face from a range of causes (from pollution and overfishing to global warming), it’s a problem that’s impossible to ignore. Divers have long led the charge to protect, preserve and learn how best to address the growing issues impacting our favourite reefs, walls and open oceans. And this desire to get involved in local programs and initiatives while travelling and diving is only growing – a trend which is right up our street.

To meet the demand, we've designed a series of itineraries centred around Waterculturalist initiatives around the world. From diving alongside traditional Bubu Fishermen in Alor, Indonesia, to building reef highways in Fiji, to monitoring whale shark migrations in Tanzania, you can embark on a dive trip that builds your education; not only around the incredible underwater critters and landscape we love so much, but also on the communities that rely on the oceanic world and how we are moving forward in protecting it.
