Tulamben & Amed have arguably the best snorkelling in Bali due to the thriving reefscapes resting just steps from shore and the healthy coral system supports a bustling population of reef fish which echoes up the chain, seeing turtles, rays and the occasional black tip shark cruising by. In this region you can dive one of our favourite sites in Bali - The USAT Liberty Shipwreck, a WWII coral encrusted wreck, also easily accessible from shore and great for divers of all abilities. Dry days (or half days) can be spent lounging on the beach or adventuring. Take a look inland for volcano hikes, rafting adventures, strolls through rice paddy fields and temple tours, or hop on a boat for a day trip to the nearby Nusa Islands.
