All rooms feature a private shaded terrace with garden or ocean views, sunken marble garden baths and butler service, while some also have private swimming pools.

Activities at the Oberoi Lombok include a variety of water sports available from the beach club at the end of the jetty, including snorkelling, diving, windsurfing, sailing and sea kayaking. A short boat trip takes you to the Gili Islands, where you can enjoy a picnic lunch on one of the beaches and great snorkelling or diving on coral reefs. These islands offer some of the best diving in this part of Indonesia; healthy reefs and good marine life and are well worth a visit, especially when you can come back from a dive to the Oberoi.

Other facilities at the Oberoi include a large swimming pool fringed by tall palms, a spa with open-air massage pavilions, a gym, sauna, steam room and a tennis court. There are also mountain bikes for hire, a golf course ten minutes away across the bay, and excursions to the Mt Rinjani volcano are another option. The resort's main restaurant serves Asian and Western cuisine overlooking the ocean. Alternatively, a terrace café offers light lunches and seafood in the evenings, and there is a sunset bar serving tropical cocktails.
