Komodo Dive Resort sits on the shores of Sebayur Island and is the brain child of two avid divers, Antonello and Stefano. After visiting Komodo and Indonesia on regular business trips the pair decided to buy the Island in 2009 and thereafter began building the environmentally friendly hideout.

The resort blends seamlessly with its surroundings so much so that, from a distance, the island still looks uninhabited. 16 teak and thatch bungalows are spaced out along the beach and offer guest privacy with unobstructed ocean views. Each bungalow features double or twin beds, a private bathroom, an outdoor terrace and garden area.

The Sunset Restaurant sits in an open air bamboo structure where the chef prepares Indonesian, Italian and international cuisine all using fresh produce. Enjoy fresh pastries at breakfast, catch of the day for lunch and home-made pastas for dinner.

After dining at the open air restaurant, head to the Komodo Dragon Beach Bar and enjoy a cocktail as the sun sets behind the island. Other facilities include a fully equipped gym and two 14-metre double-decked wooden boats used to reach the dive sites, all located within 10 to 90 minutes away from the resorts pier.

Speaking of dive sites, the surrounding marine life is something quite special. Dive with fascinating life forms that populate Komodo's undersea reefs as you explore the diverse crystal waters of Komodo National Park. Snorkelling here is great too and Sebayur Kecil reef sits just five minutes from the resort.
