A beautifully crafted traditional Phinisi yacht, Tiger Blue is one of the fastest boats under power, and with luxurious teak fittings and billowing sails, the perfect way to explore the enthralling waters of the Indonesian Archipelago.
The 112 foot boat is built from Indonesian teak wood, whilst interiors give a nod to the local surroundings with intricate tapestries draped over beds and hand-painted fish fixings. The boat is available for private charter, with five air-conditioned cabins, catering for up to 12 guests, making her ideal for private parties. There are three spacious double cabins with king-size beds, a smaller cabin with a bunk bed and a larger family cabin to sleep a family of four. The on-deck master suite enjoys spectacular views of the changing seascape from either side of the boat. All rooms feature en-suite bathrooms.
Guests can embark on voyages to Raja Ampat, the Banda Islands and Komodo, all within the Coral Triangle, where diving is guaranteed to be magnificent. Discovery dives and guided dives are included in the charter, whilst courses are also on offer.
The deck is focused around dining, with a large dining table with wraparound views of the mesmerising and ever-changing landscape. The on-board chef delivers delicious dishes inspired by both Asian and Western palates, with food sourced locally where possible. Expansive daybeds provide a welcome relaxation spot following an active day exploring, or to escape the sun head to the fully air-conditioned stern and watch a DVD.
Aside from diving and snorkelling, there is also a variety of water sports including wakeboarding, water-skiing and knee boarding. Dependent on the voyage, guests can also embark on hikes and wildlife watching.
Why we love it
