Constance Moofushi is located in one of the archipelago’s finest dive spots, the South Ari Atoll, where guests can spot baby reef sharks just steps from the beach in the house reef. An all-inclusive setting enables guests to completely relax into the island way of life.
Villas are either stilted over the lagoon or dotted across the beach, and have been designed in traditional Maldivian style with thatched palm ceilings, spacious wooden terraces and beachcomber-inspired fittings.
Crystal clear waters, a slow current and healthy reef typify the surrounding environment, and guests can explore these marine-rich waters with the BlueTribe Dive Centre. They also offer two whale shark trips a week throughout the year, and between December and April we recommend a visit to Madivaru for some manta spotting.
There are three restaurants to choose from at Constance Moofushi and with all-inclusive rates guests needn't worry about eye-watering prices. Manta offers buffet all-day dining, at Totem guests can enjoy fresh fruit smoothies (or stronger drinks) under a palm tree canopy, while Alizée is an elegant a la carte restaurant.
Aside from snorkelling and scuba diving, guests can also take a fishing trip or sunset cruise, or for total relaxation, visit the U Spa for a rejuvenating treatment against gentle ocean breezes. There's also a fitness room and yoga pavilion.
Why we love it
Head to the Manta Bar for sundowners and watch the horizon throw shades of purple and orange across the skies whilst listening to an ambient selection of tunes from the resident DJ - or once a week witness traditional dancing.
