All of the holidays we create are completely tailor-made to you

This sample itinerary is intended to give you a flavour of what we can do

Days 1 & 2: International Flight to Indonesia

Pack your bags and grab your passports: your Indonesian adventure begins today. This morning, head to the airport, speed through security and enjoy some nibbles in the lounge before boarding your overnight flight to Denpasar, Bali. With a quick stopover in the Middle East, the journey will take between 17 and 20 hours, touching down in Indonesia the next day.

When you land, you'll be met and privately transferred for two and a half hours to Belimbing, a pristine village in the lush Tabanan region of Bali. Check into your hotel, where you'll be staying for the next three nights, and spend the rest of the day relaxing, whether you'd rather soak up the sun on your terrace or take a dip in the pool.

Day 3: Explore Belimbing

To ease you into Indonesia's pristine nature and peaceful atmosphere, we've arranged a walking tour of Belimbing with a local. After a hearty breakfast this morning, head to Mekori Temple, an ancient Hindu haven set in a small clearing within a monkey forest.

Once you've been suitably wowed, begin the trek through Belimbing, passing stunning rice terraces and discovering hidden waterfalls as you go. Along the way, stop to snap postcard-perfect shots of the beautiful scenery or take a dip in the sparkling pools, then round off the tour with a tasty traditional Balinese lunch surrounded by lush green rice fields.

Back at your hotel, the rest of the day is yours for the taking. Unwind after your walk with a treatment at the spa, get stuck into your holiday read and enjoy a delicious dinner at the hotel restaurant before heading to bed, ready for more exploring tomorrow.

Day 4: Authentic Belimbing

Another day, another walk. This morning, head out on a guided stroll through the incredible Belimbing rice terraces, learning about the ingenious ancient subak irrigation system and admiring the unspoiled beauty around you.

Next, your guide will lead you to the nearby Temuku Pupuan organic farm, where you'll learn about organic Balinese farming, wander the crop fields, meet the animals and enjoy a tasty lunch crafted entirely from freshly harvested ingredients.

Round off the day with a visit to the secluded Blahmantung waterfall and nearby Bohara Dharma Giri Buddhist temple, observing Bali's pristine nature and religious traditions at their most authentic.

Day 5: The Best of Tabanan by Bike

After a hearty breakfast this morning, wave goodbye to Belimbing and meet your driver for the private transfer to southern Tabanan, a half-hour drive away. When you arrive, check into your next hotel for a two-night stay.

Once you've dropped your bags, head out to explore the surrounding scenery on an exhilarating electric bike tour. Beginning at the Batukaru Temple, a key pilgrimage site for Hindu worshippers, glide through ancient rice terraces, dense jungle and giant bamboo forests all the way to Jatiluwih Rice Terrace, a UNESCO-listed site known for its traditional subak irrigation system.

Finish off the tour with a tasty Balinese lunch at a local warung (small eatery), then head back to your hotel for a chilled afternoon.

Day 6: Rest and Relaxation in Tabanan

We've left today free for you to enjoy at your own pace. Nestled among sprawling green rice paddies, your hotel is made up of a series of traditional Balinese villas overlooking the Indian Ocean, making it the perfect spot for some serious R&R. Take a walk in the gardens, indulge in a traditional Balinese massage or simply soak up the views from your terrace - what better way to rest up before a week of diving?

Day 7: Travel to East Sumbawa

It's time for the diving leg of your holiday to begin. This morning, you'll be privately transferred back to Denpasar, a one-and-a-half-hour drive away, for the one-hour flight to Bima, the gateway to East Sumbawa's incredible waters.

When you touch down, you'll be met and transferred to Kalimaya Dive Resort, where you'll be spending the next six nights. Spend the rest of the afternoon settling in with a walk on the private bay and an ice-cold sundowner - the underwater exploration begins tomorrow.

Day 8: Let the Diving Begin

Sumbawa Island's eastern region is home to some of the world's most exciting diving, with nutrient-rich waters, fascinating marine life and pristine reefs. The diving at Kalimaya is especially fantastic - the resort's remote location places you in a prime position to dive a number of world-class sites that few others can access, making the diving here truly exclusive.

This morning, gear up and take a boat over to West Komodo, where fantastic visibility allows you to appreciate the colourful corals and dive alongside a whopping 1,000 species of fish.

Fancy something closer to home for your first day? Set off on a guided orientation of the house reef with one of the resort's dive experts, then enjoy unlimited house reef dives all day (and night) long. The reef is a haven for macro critters, so look out for tiny nudibranch, neon frogfish and cute bobtail squid.

Come evening, surface for a spot of supper as the sun sets over the beach.

Day 9: Venture to Gili Banta

Today, rise bright and early and set out on the morning boat to dive the thrilling reefs of Gili Banta, a remote island just west of Komodo National Park.

Located just a 40-minute boat ride from the resort, Gili Banta is famous for its fantastic drift diving. The meeting of the Pacific and Indian Oceans here draws a whirlpool of marine life, from oceanic and reef manta rays and several species of shark to huge schools of tuna, trevally and barracuda. Alongside an expert guide, watch all of this fascinating marine life while drifting in the current or on a pinnacle dive.

Once you've been suitably wowed, return to the resort, refuel at the restaurant and spend the rest of the afternoon paddle boarding, diving the house reef or simply relaxing on the beach.

Day 10: Sangeang Volcano

It's another early start today as you climb aboard the boat and head out to dive Sangeang Volcano.

Located a 45-minute boat ride away, diving around this incredible natural wonder is characterised by a black-sand reef constantly bubbling with volcanic activity. As if that's not jaw-dropping enough, these bubbles support a wonderful array of wacky macro life, including pygmy seahorses, nudibranchs and frogfish.

Although all of the dive sites around Sangeang Volcano are pretty spectacular, a few of our favourites include Lighthouse Reef, home to a vibrant coral reef dotted with neon flame shells, and Lava Flow, full of ancient volcanic flows and cute macro critters.

If you're knackered after the morning's excitement, spend the afternoon relaxing by the pool - if not, head out to explore hiking trails in the local area or take a tour to discover the famous Komodo dragon. Cameras at the ready…

Days 11 & 12: Snorkelling in East Sumbawa

The last two days at Kalimaya are yours for the taking. If you're not quite dived out yet, don your mask and get stuck into some snorkelling on the house reef, keeping an eye out for vibrant reef fish and the occasional pelagic. Fancy something a little different? Try your hand at paddleboarding or kayaking to a secluded spot.

Spend your final day out of the water (ahead of your flight tomorrow), soaking up the sun by the pool, wandering along the sand or playing games of table tennis, badminton and volleyball. Come evening, relax on the beach with a sundowner and toast to a week of fantastic diving in East Sumbawa.

Day 13: Back to Bali

The diving leg of your trip might be over, but don't worry: there are still more memories to be made. After one last beachfront breakfast, you'll be picked up and privately transferred 90 minutes back to Bima airport, where you'll catch your hour-long flight back to Denpasar.

When you touch down, it's another private transfer to Ubud, a one-and-a-half-hour drive away. Arrive and check into Arya Villas, where you'll be spending the next three nights, and spend the rest of the day settling in. Nasi goreng, anyone?

Days 14 & 15: Calm and Cuisine in Ubud

After a jam-packed two weeks, we've left the next two days free for you to enjoy at your leisure. Set among expansive rice fields, Arya Villas is comprised of 20 traditional Javenese houses (joglos), perfect for two days of rest, relaxation and rejuvenation before you return home. Spend your days strolling on guided nature walks, indulging in treatments at the spa or cooling off in the pool before enjoying traditional Indonesian cuisine at the tranquil restaurant.

On one evening, we've arranged for you to venture out of the hotel and dive into Ubud's culture and cuisine at the night market. With an expert guide, wander along rows of colourful stands, taking in fragrant aromas and soaking in the sights and sounds of the street vendors. Along the way, stop to try an assortment of traditional dishes, fresh fruit and Balinese desserts at a local warung - what better way to end your Indonesian getaway?

Days 16 & 17: Home Time

Sadly, it's time to return home, but only after one last leisurely morning in Ubud. After lunch (and perhaps a final spa treatment), you'll be picked up and transferred back to Denpasar in plenty of time for your departing flight this evening.

With a connection in the Middle East, the journey should take around 20 hours in total, and you'll touch down in the UK tomorrow morning, ready to regale your friends and family with tales of your Indonesian getaway.
